*Entries submitted that cannot be verified will not be considered

*A limited number of quality non-qualifiers may be accepted with the understanding that they may be asked to serve as a rabbit in exchange for racing opportunities during the AMC HP Series of races.  Preferential consideration will be given for those athletes that have participated in past AMC HP Series races.

*OPEN 800 & 1500 "HP" races (availability dependent on status of invitational race sections): These race winners earn a spot in a future HP race section. Eligibility standards = 1:53.50/2:12.00 & 3:53.00/4:35.00

High Performance Commitment:

Every effort will be made to maximize these HP race opportunities.  With the outdoor races set in the evening after the sun sets and primed with rabbits we will also operate with a close eye on the weather.  With the meets focused on a relatively small number of races we are easily able to make adjustments in the time schedule to avoid any unexpected weather interference.  Because of this approach to the race schedule ALL ATHLETES or their representative will be required to check-in no later than 90 minutes before their scheduled race to receive any final adjustments in planned race times and for final race section assignments along with introductions of athletes to rabbit athletes and a final discussion of rabbit race plans (when warranted).

Rabbit Pace Planning:

At a minimum plans will be in place to provide rabbit duties in the 800 and 1500/Mile at a pace required to make the USA National qualification standards. Other race opportunities will apply rabbit resources based on qualifying standards and participant resources. Pace setting efforts are a collective participant effort and require support, cooperation and communication to cover all the events. Recruiting rabbits by participants has always been the most effective approach to ensure effective pace setting.  Send rabbit/pace setting interests to: Email: Coach Harger
